We stand behind our work. Every repair performed by KMG Appliance Repair comes backed by a transparent warranty so you know exactly what's covered, for how long, and what to do if something goes wrong.
KMG Appliance Repair provides two layers of warranty protection — labour and parts — with coverage that varies by property type and repair complexity.
If the same fault returns within the warranty period and is directly tied to our repair, we come back at no charge to correct it.

Read the complete terms of KMG Appliance Repair's limited warranty. Your service invoice is the authoritative document for your specific repair.
KMG Appliance Repair provides a limited warranty on qualifying repairs performed by our technicians. Coverage varies depending on the type of repair, appliance model, replacement part, and usage conditions.
A labour warranty of up to 90 days is provided on most standard residential appliance repairs unless otherwise stated on the customer invoice.
Replacement parts supplied and installed by KMG are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty — typically ranging from 90 days up to 1 year.
Repairs involving premium appliances, sealed systems, or specialized components may qualify for extended labour coverage — stated clearly on your invoice.
If the same malfunction reoccurs within the warranty period and is determined to be directly related to our original repair, we'll perform corrective service at no charge.
New issues are billed separately. Any separate or unrelated issue identified during a warranty visit will be treated as a new service request and may be subject to additional diagnostic or labour charges.
All replacement parts installed by KMG Appliance Repair are intended for normal residential household use. If a manufacturer-supplied component fails during its applicable warranty period, replacement will be handled according to the manufacturer's warranty terms and availability.
| Property Type | Parts | Labour |
|---|---|---|
| Residential single-family (unless invoice states otherwise) | Up to 1 Year | Up to 90 Days |
| Rental properties, commercial, shared-use, multi-unit residential | 90 Days | 90 Days |
Labour associated with warranty replacement parts may or may not be included depending on the original repair agreement and invoice terms.
Warranty obligations related to replacement parts are subject to manufacturer availability. If a required replacement component becomes discontinued, backordered indefinitely, or otherwise unavailable from the manufacturer or authorized suppliers, KMG Appliance Repair's responsibility under this warranty shall end.
Parts availability is outside our control. We will always make every effort to source compatible components, but we cannot guarantee indefinite parts availability for all appliance models and makes.
This warranty does not apply to the following circumstances, conditions, or items. Warranty coverage applies only to the specific repair and components identified on the original invoice.
Consumable items including water filters, light bulbs, or batteries
Cosmetic parts such as shelves, drawers, trim, handles, knobs, or glass
Damage from misuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
Damage caused by water leaks, flooding, fire, power surges, or pest activity
Food spoilage or product loss resulting from appliance failure
Damage to flooring, cabinetry, walls, or countertops during appliance access
Preventative maintenance, cleaning, drain unclogging, or routine procedures
Repairs completed using customer-provided parts
Service performed outside normal operating conditions unless specifically documented
Appliance components not directly related to the original repair listed on the invoice
KMG Appliance Repair does not provide warranty coverage on parts supplied by customers. If a customer chooses to provide their own replacement component after a professional diagnosis by our technician, a limited labour warranty may be offered solely on the installation itself — provided the supplied part matches the required specifications.
No diagnosis, no warranty. If installation is requested without prior diagnosis by KMG Appliance Repair, all warranties, guarantees, and liability related to performance or repair outcome are waived.
KMG Appliance Repair is not responsible for incorrect parts ordered by the customer, defective or incompatible components, additional labour required due to part defects or incompatibility, or repeat failures caused by third-party parts. No refunds, credits, or reimbursements will be issued for customer-supplied components.
This warranty becomes immediately void under any of the following conditions:
Outstanding invoices or unpaid balances exceeding 14 days
Declined payment transactions, returned cheques, or chargebacks
Repairs, modifications, or inspections performed by another service company after our repair
Tampering, disassembly, or unauthorized adjustments by the customer or a third party
Failure to operate or maintain the appliance according to manufacturer guidelines
Third-party service voids all coverage. Any work performed on the appliance by another company or individual after service by KMG Appliance Repair automatically voids all warranty coverage.
KMG Appliance Repair shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from appliance failure, delayed service, part delays, loss of use, property damage, or food spoilage.
The customer acknowledges that appliance repairs involve the movement and handling of heavy equipment and accepts reasonable risk associated with access and servicing procedures.
