These terms cover how we deliver service, handle payment, and protect both our customers and our technicians. Your service invoice is always the authoritative document for your specific repair.
A non-refundable diagnostic fee covers technician travel, inspection, and time on site. If you approve the repair at the same visit, this fee is credited toward the total.
Non-Refundable on ArrivalPayment is due immediately upon completion of service. Overdue balances may be subject to late interest, administrative fees, and referral to a collections agency.
2% / Month After 5 DaysStandard labour warranty is 90 days unless stated otherwise on your invoice. Parts are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty terms.

The following definitions apply throughout these Terms & Conditions.
"Company," "KMG," "we," "our," or "us" refers to KMG Appliance Repair.
"Customer," "client," or "you" refers to any individual, tenant, landlord, business, property manager, or organization requesting our services.
"Services" refers to appliance diagnostics, repairs, installations, maintenance, inspections, and related support provided by KMG Appliance Repair.
"Invoice" refers to any written or electronic service summary, estimate, receipt, or payment request issued by KMG Appliance Repair.
A service appointment requires that an adult authorized to approve repairs and payment be present during the scheduled appointment window.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, e-transfer, and other approved methods listed on the invoice.

Outstanding balances suspend all coverage. KMG Appliance Repair reserves the right to suspend warranty coverage, future appointments, and ongoing work until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
KMG Appliance Repair reserves the right to decline service if an appliance has been previously disassembled, altered, modified, or repaired by another party before our technician's inspection.
No guarantee can be provided on tampered appliances. We cannot verify prior workmanship, installation quality, missing components, or operational safety on appliances that have been previously serviced by another party.
Diagnostic fee remains payable. If service is declined after the technician's inspection due to prior modification, the diagnostic fee is still owed and non-refundable.
Appointments must be cancelled with adequate notice. Cancellation requests must be confirmed directly with a live representative — voicemail, missed calls, emails, or unconfirmed texts may not be accepted as valid notice.
Cancellations must be made at least three (3) business hours before the scheduled appointment window begins.
Appointments booked within three hours of arrival must be cancelled within one (1) hour of booking to avoid penalty.
Failure to provide proper notice may result in the full diagnostic fee being charged. For full details see our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Diagnostic and service call fees are non-refundable. Repair charges apply only to the diagnosed issue approved by the customer.
Manufacturer warranty exceptions apply. Parts may be eligible for refund or replacement if they fail within the applicable manufacturer warranty period.
Certain repairs require special-order parts. In such cases, a deposit of up to 50% of the estimated repair total may be required before parts are ordered.
Refunds on deposits depend on supplier return policies and may be reduced by restocking fees, shipping charges, or non-returnable part restrictions.
When KMG diagnoses the appliance and supplies the replacement component, we are responsible for ensuring the correct part is installed for the diagnosed issue.
Installation of customer-provided parts is performed solely at the technician's discretion. KMG Appliance Repair may refuse installation of customer-supplied components for safety, compatibility, reliability, or quality concerns.
No warranty of any kind is provided on customer-supplied parts. If installation is requested without diagnosis by KMG Appliance Repair, all warranties and guarantees are waived.
KMG Appliance Repair is not responsible for the following in connection with customer-supplied parts:
Limited labour warranty may apply. If KMG diagnoses the appliance and the customer supplies an exact-match replacement component, a limited labour warranty may still be provided — only if the part exactly matches the recommended specifications.
Standard labour warranty coverage is 90 days unless otherwise stated on the invoice. Replacement parts supplied by KMG Appliance Repair are covered according to manufacturer warranty terms.

KMG Appliance Repair shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from appliance malfunction, delayed parts, repair delays, or service interruptions.
Customers acknowledge inherent service risks. Appliance repair involves working with mechanical and electrical systems. By booking service, customers accept the reasonable risks associated with servicing and moving appliances on their property.
